About Mangayarkarasi College Of Arts Science For Women, Madurai
Mangayarkarasi college of Arts and Science was started for women in the year 1997 by founder Amarar Pitchiah Pillai, a great philanthropist and a visionary of the 20th century. It's fabulous campus stands in a pollution free pleasant environment conductive for learning. Our college is accredited by NAAC with “B” Grade during the academic year 2013-2014. Our management is dedicated to education which runs primary to higher secondary schools, B.Ed, D.T.Ed and Engineering colleges. We prepare young women with knowledge, skill and attitude for life of commitment. Our college is ISO 9001:2015 Certified. Over a period of nearly two decades, the college is able to scale as a multi faculty institution promoting quality in higher education due to the sustained efforts and guidance given by the management.
The college is functioning with 8 departments offering under graduate and post graduate courses in Science, Arts and commerce affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The college has air-conditioned language lab, well equipped laboratories with the latest equipments for computer and physics, well stocked library and playground.

Vision and Mission of the institution is expressed to the students through the introductory session, orientation program, bridge course and teaching-learning process. The great ideals, mission and objective of the institution conveyed to the stakeholders by way of conducting awareness programs at admission table through the prospectus, pamphlets, folders, CD, posters & flex. “Action speaks more than the word”.
To exhibit our college vision & mission and achievement are visualized through power point presentation at the time of welcoming the stakeholders. Parents–Teachers meeting is organized regularly at 4 times a year – twice per semester towards the mission of the institution.
