Nagar, Madurai 625 020 in the year 2005-2006 as a private, not for profit, Self financing Institution and dedicated to serve the society as Centre for learning with emphasis on Teacher Education. The Trust achieved the task of establishing this college with a B.Ed., course under the leadership of the Chairman for the K.S.Memorial Education Trust, Mr. S. Palanikumarasamy, B.A., B.L., who is the founder and managing Trustee of the Trust and also the first Chairman of the K.S.M. College of Education for Women. Mr. P. Kumarasamy, M.E., is the Vice-Chairman who shoulders on the responsibilities of the Administration and Mrs. K. Gopiga, B.E.,M.C.A., is currently the Correspondent/Secretary of the College., The logo of the institution symbolizes the need of education for Women which in turn shall be the pedestal on which the progress of the nation built upon. “Education for Women, Progress for Nation” is the motto of the College. K.S.M.College of Education for Women will strive continuously to achieve academic excellence in Education through dedication to duty, innovation in teaching, with faith to contribute values of life to the future generation.
