The College of Allied Medical Sciences, sponsored by Dhivan Sahib Trust was established with the primary aim of producing students of the highest calibre and of outstanding ability. The College is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu G.O.MS.No.195. dated.19.02.1993.
It is provided with well equipped Laboratories, Research Centre, Library and other modern facilities. The students of this college are offered a high standard education by highly qualified and dedicated staff members. As there is a spurt in the growth of government and private hospitals, the demand for qualified paramedical personnel is increasing day by day.
To meet the growing demand of qualified Pharmacists and qualified laboratory technicians, CAMS runs D.Pharm. & D.M.L.T. courses approved by Pharmacy Council of India and AIMLTA respectively & both recognized by pharmacy council of India.
