The K.G. College of Nursing was started in 1995, and is accredited by the Govt. of Tamilnadu, vide G.O.M.S. No.754 Tamilnadu Nursing and Midwifery Council and the College is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Madras vide No. 16464/Afin.11(1)191.The College has a well equipped library and highly qualified and dedicated faculties.

The College conference halls and seminar rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual arrangements and stand-by facilities. The College is located at kg campus, Saravanampatty to provide theory to the students. Secured and adequate hostel facilities are provided within the campus for female candidates.

The College's primary mission is the 'Education and Training of Professionals". B.Sc Nursing Degree Program

The K.G. Hospital is one among the four centers in the country, recognized by the National Board of Medical Sciences for offering a five year diplomats course in Neurology and Neuro surgery.
