      The College was established in the year 2006 with an aim to achieve high ideals for future teachers. It is one among the Teacher Training Institute started under self-financing scheme during 2006 and is affiliated to Directorate of Teacher Education Research and Training (DTERT) Chennai. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has accorded recognition by order No: FSRO/NCTE/D.TEd/2006-07/8066/Dated 28.09.2006. The Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust was established in the year 1990. It is a non profitable organization established with the objective of imparting quality education to the society.The Chairman of theTrust. Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, is a Consultant Physician specialized in Endocrinology. The Managing Trustee Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami is a Consultant in Peadiatrics and Adolescent care. Having worked in various advanced medical centers and hospitals in USA for over 20 years they have wide experience in the field of medicine and education. It was their dream to start the educational institutions on par with the standards of best in the world.
