About Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering
Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology is established by the Varadhammal Manickam Educational and Charitable Trust (VMECT). It is situated at Ponnur Hills, Vandavasi in Thiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu, India.
It started functioning from the academic year of 1998 - 99. The college is situated over 35 acres with a serene atmosphere. The landscape has good contour and is surrounded by greenery and hills. The hills are famous for the foot prints of “Kuntha Kunthar” (Thiru Valluvar) which makes it a very sacred place.
