Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture is standalone institute functioning from the academic year 2011-2012 imparting Architectural Education with a sanctioned intake of 40 approved by the Council of Architecture. The Academy of Architecture is functioning towards the orientation of the students for the practical application supported along with the curriculum. To create an environment where freedom and spirit of expression of the students under the expertise of faculty having varied exposure in the field and Academics.

Alhaj Dr. S.M.Shaik Nurddin founded the Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust and named it after his father in the year 1990 with the aim of imparting Technical and Medical Education in general and to educate the weaker sections and backward communities of the society in particular. This trust has been established to promote education amongst all sectors of people of the Nation with a view to wipe out ignorance, superstition and illiteracy and enabling the younger generation to equip themselves with compatible education for employment and overall development of the society.

The undergraduate programme at the Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture started in 2011-12 and is approved by the Council of Architecture and affiliated to Anna University. The duration of the programme is 5 years and the degree awarded at the end of duration is Bachelor of Architecture. The goal of the academy, through its curriculum, projects and design drawings, is to impart advanced learning and practical exposure to students so they can leverage their experience to create better and sustainable solutions to the world.
