Department of Psychiatry The department of Psychiatry at SDUMC is a full-fledged department situated in the OPD block of R. L. Jalappa Hospital and Research center providing mental health services to the people of rural and urban areas in around kolar district. This is the only mental health center, which acts as a referral center for neighbouring districts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
