Department of Economics, Pune
The Department of Economics was established at Pune Campus in the year 1986 and it offers a 2-year on-campus Master’s Degree Programme in Economics with 17 options. The medium of instruction for Masters programme is Marathi. The Department also offers Ph. D. Programme in Economics in Marathi and English medium. The department specializes in integrating the students from the surrounding rural areas in the mainstream preparing and guiding them for entering the employment arena.
