About Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE)
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is a statutory and autonomous body established under the Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965. The Maharashtra board results form the benchmark for the students to make the decision for their further studies. The exams are conducted throughout the state of Maharashtra, through its nine Divisional Boards, which are primarily located at Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Nasik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Amravati, Latur, and Ratnagiri and students studying in the Government-run High Schools are required to give this examination for further Secondary Education, for which the admission is given on the basis on merit.
