The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is the state board responsible for overseeing secondary and higher secondary education in Maharashtra. Established under the provisions of the act of 1965, the Maharashtra Board conducts annual examinations for secondary (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary (Class 12th) levels.

The board is divided into various divisions across Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri. Annually, over 14 lakh students participate in these examinations.

Maharashtra Scholarship Exams

Maharashtra Board Time Table- SSC and HSC

SSC (class 10th) and HSC (class 12th) examinations are conducted annually in the month of March. The board releases the timetable online on its official website. 

The candidates who study from the Maharashtra Board get the timetable in the month of December. The link to the timetable uses to be available online on the official website. The timetable contains all the necessary information related to the board exams.

Maharashtra Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card

For the students of secondary and senior secondary, the Maharashtra Board releases the admit card in the month of February. Candidates obtain the admit card online on the official website. To get it from mahahsscboard.in, the candidates need to use their roll number. The students can also collect the Maharashtra Board Admit Card from their respective schools.

The Admit card is the most important document that needs to be carried on every exam day. The admit card contains all the important details related to the exams as well as related to the students. Students are required to carry a physical copy of admit card to the examination hall. Without admit, cards students will not be allowed to write exams.

The admit card appears in the pdf file format. The candidates can see the various details such as the organisation’s name, conducting body name, class name, exam date, the days for the exams, timings for the exams, subject code, subject name, reporting time, exam centre code, exam centre name, other necessary information etc.

Maharashtra Board Result

After the completion of the exams, the Maharashtra board declares the result for both classes. For class 10 board exams, the Maharashtra board announces the result in the month of June. For class 12, the board declares the result separately for different streams. It releases the result for Science and Commerce combined while for Arts, the separate result uses to be announced. To check the result, the candidates need to submit the roll number.

The candidates need to submit the roll number and the registration number to search for the result. The result appears in pdf format and contains the board’s name, the name of the class, subject name, respective marks, overall marks, result status, other important details.
