About CGSOS

The Chhattisgarh State Open School (CGSOS) was established in the year 2008, with its headquarters located in Raipur. Every year, lakhs of students enroll and study under CGSOS. Its establishment aimed to fulfill the “Education for all” goal of Chhattisgarh, ensuring that every student in the state has access to education and the opportunity to pass examinations. CGSOS provides students with up to 9 chances to pass exams within a span of 5 years, thereby offering maximum flexibility. Currently, CGSOS facilitates education through 260 study centers spread across 27 districts of the state. The medium of instruction is either Hindi or English.
