Sri Sathya Sai College For Women, Jaipur is the fruition of the Blessings of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi. Inspired by His Divine Mission of providing Value Oriented and Empowering Education to girls, the college was inaugurated in Jaipur in 1974. “ When you educate a girl, you educate the whole family” and “Education for life not merely for living”are some of Swami's sayings on which the traditions and curriculum of the college are based.

Being the first and the only College in the state imparting value oriented education to girls the chief objective of the College is to make quality higher education accessible to all rich and poor, urban and rural irrespective of caste and creed. “Value Oriented Education for excellence and empowerment” and “Our Utmost for the Highest” are the mottos of the college and we aim to present to society not only brilliant academic achievers but also intelligent, balanced home makers and value oriented entrepreneurs who are competent to confidently shoulder the responsibilities and challenges of life and carve a distinguished niche for themselves in a patriarchal social system.

The policies and integral education curriculum of the college distinctly addresses the needs of the society and students it seeks to serve and thus attracts a considerably large number of students from the economically weaker, semi–urban, semi-rural, sections of society. The college plays a pivotal role in moulding their minds in an ambience of creativity and learning. Sagaciously and imaginatively utilizing all its resources for an overall multifaceted development of the students the college focuses on the ancient precept of wisdom of “Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye” – education which liberates. To this we add our own modern correlative of providing to the students that education which not only liberates but also empowers.
