Ashwani Garg, Chairman of the society Dr Paramjit Singh, Director-Principal who had retired as Registrar from Punjab University Chandigarh had more than 38 years vast experience in teaching, Research and Consultancy activities of Engneering Institutions.

Campus is situated over an area of 25 acres with a covered campus area of 1,50,000 sq ft. at Ramnagar (Banur) close to the city beautiful, Chandigarh. Banur is surrounded by Chandigarh (U.T), Panchkula and Ambala (Haryana), Patiala, Mohali and Gobindgarh(Punjab) and Baddi & Parwanoo(Himachal). The Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes is catering efficiently to the requirements of the tri-city and the newly established IT park.
