      About College of Home Science, Ludhiana

      The College of Home Science was established in July 1966 at Ludhiana in order to meet the demand of the people of Punjab. It is a residential institution and offers instructions for the B.Sc. (Home Science) 5-year program and in the final year, elective subjects are offered according to the choice of the students.
      B.Sc. (Home Science) 5-year program
      M.Sc. programs are offered in the subjects of Foods & Nutrition, Home Management, Home Science Education and Extension, Child Development, and Clothing & Textiles while Ph.D. is offered by the Departments of Food & Nutrition, Home Management, Home Science Education and Extension.
      The students with +2 in Science subject can take admission but will have to compete in the entrance test based on matriculation syllabus.The College of Home Science was established in July 1966 at Ludhiana in order to meet the demand of the people of Punjab.
