The College of Nursing was established in 2005 to provide quality education in the field of Nursing. The institute offers course in B. Sc. (Nursing) 4 year degree programme approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC) with annual intake of 60 students.

College also offers Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course (two years after G.N.M.) with annual intake of 30 students and three and half years G.N.M. course having annual intake of 100 students with approval from Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC)

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Academic year 2018-19 at the College of Nursing, AIMSR. College of Nursing, AIMSR is the pioneer tertiary care institution of this region and we are focused to emerge as a frontline establishment on the global map of health and patient care. It is equipped with state of the art facilities for teaching and patient care. The Medical College boasts of well equipped laboratories and spacious lecture theaters besides a rich and spacious library with extended reading hours and ample availability of books. The institute is poised for tremendous growth in the coming years by the dedicated efforts of the highly skilled faculty along with the active participation of the students. Although you are here primarily in pursuit of good education and qualification, yet, we believe that, you should have adequate opportunities for extra curricular activities, particularly cultural and sports. We encourage all such activities that will help you develop an all round personality and become an excellent professional. At this juncture, it is important that you become aware of our expectations of you as well. As much as you have a right to stay and enjoy the privileges in the campus, other fellow students who are here have this right as well. Hence, this institution in any form including any acts of teasing, ragging or harm to fellow students, physical or emotional, is not acceptable.
