Doctor of Philosophy (PhD in Linguistics)

Eligiblity:

Holds a Mater’s degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject (approved by Osmania University) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

Course Details:

The conception of linguistics embraced by the Yale PhD program requires that students receive training that is both deep in its coverage of areas of linguistic inquiry and broad in the range of methodological approaches. The course work requirements are designed to accomplish these complementary goals. This course work must include a set of core courses, designed to expose students to core theoretical ideas, together with courses exposing students to a range of methodologies in linguistic research.
