Began in the year 1988 with the approval of AICTE, The Computer Science and Engineering Department imparts high quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering and also develops the overall personality of the students.

Placement :

Computing Science and Engineering and the Centre for University Industry Interaction actively working together for Students placement and Career development through Training on Soft skills like aptitude ,verbal, nonverbal reasoning, industrial visits, project demonstrations and seminars. Many leading companies like CTS,Vdart(HCL) recruit the students of school of Computing Sciences and Engineering every year.

Computing Science and Engineering and the Centre for University Industry Interaction arranges for concrete Inplant Training for students.

Events & Achievements :

The Department organizes national conferences, seminars, student symposiums, and Faculty Development Programme. The Department regularly conducts workshops for faculty and students. Those programmes train the students to explore their talents and skills in all relevant fields.

Activities :

Organizes Technical showcase, Symposium, Seminars and Conferences periodically to bring out the talents of students and to improve their leadership qualities.
Motivates the students to take part in National, State level competitive examinations, project exhibitions, paper presentations etc.
Facilitates the students with skill development programmes like SAP R/3, Oracle 10g, Java, .Net etc
The students are motivated to undergo inplant training in various companies
Lectures given by Industry experts from the field of computer science and information technology.
Seminars and workshops are organized on emerging trends in the field of information technology.
Every year the students can exhibit their innovative ideas in Open House Exhibition.

Research :

Our Objective of teaching is to provide an excellent academic knowledge with a bias towards research. The school has a good number of research scholars with focus on emerging areas such as:
Cloud Computing, Computer Networks, Mobile Computing, Natural Language Processing, Intelligent Systems, Distributed Computing, Network Security, Software Engineering, Real Time Systems, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Soft-computing and Wireless sensor networks Etc..Our faculty members are very active in publications of books and technical journals.
