Peren Education

Peren is the eleventh and newest district of Nagaland and has been formed by the partition of Kohima district. Average literacy rate of Peren in 2011 were 77.95. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 82.84 and 72.58 respectively. There are only two colleges, which include one is private and other is government college. The district has a government-run college offering arts courses at the higher secondary and at degree level.
