Master of Technology (M.Tech in Ethical Hacking), is a two years postgraduate Computer Science and Information Security degree level course of study in India. The aim of the program is to provide the solid foundation in the fundamental areas of Ethical Hacking computer Science.
The course is designed to prepare candidates with the ability to conduct advanced research with a structured study of applied technical solution for the real-world problem related to the system hacking.
Nowadays Hacker working for good reasons contrary to their enormous task of illegal intrusion is known as Ethical Hacker or White Hats. Candidates are technically skilled IT professional with a strong desire to solve problems and prevent malicious use hackers from causing damages to the network system.
The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Ethical Hacking. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Computer Science and Information Security, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Advanced Problem Solving, Scripting & Computing Environments, Operating System, Computer Networks, System and Network Security, Principles of Information Security, Information Security (Research and Management), Information Security Audit and Assurance.
The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Engineering in Computers Science (BE), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc in Computer Application) or equivalent examination with relevant subjects like Computer, Mathematics, Statistics, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.
This course requires study requires 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.
The Master degree holder have excellent career opportunities in Colleges & Universities also in National and International Security Agencies, Defence System Security Agencies, etc.
After the successful completion of the course, one can be recognized as Ethical Hacker / Computer Engineer and able to work as System analyst, Assistant Computer Programmer, Senior Executive (Data Administrator), Information Technology Administrator, Consultant, Professor, Lecturer, Senior Executive (Research & Development Unit), etc.
