Master of Technology (MTech Business Analytics)

Eligiblity:

B.E/ B.Tech degree in CSE / ECE / EEE / EIE/IT, MCA, M.Sc in IT/CS, AMIE or other equivalent degree.

Course Details:

Master of Technology in Business Analytics is a two years Business Analytics Degree level course of study in India. The aim of master study program is to prepare candidates with a combination of technical and managerial ability needed for dealing with global business challenges.

Business Analytics is being used to do everything from solving complex business problems that increase the efficiency of business. The study emphasized on over all aspects of Business Analytics includes optimization, computer simulation, decision analysis, statistics, predictive modelling data mining, visualization, artificial intelligence, application in finance, marketing, supply chain, information system and also for using economic tools.

The study develops necessary analytical skills to perform in both technical and business domain. The study builds the strong technical foundation for candidates to make their career finance, marketing and operations. Candidates are also prepared with good communication skills as business analyst they have to spend a great deal of time interacting with clients, management and developers.

The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Business Analytics. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Business Analytics, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Advanced Business Analytics, Data Mining, Spreadsheet Modelling and Simulation, Management of Organizational Data, Total Quality Management, Management of Organizational Behaviour.

Eligibility:

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or equivalent examination with relevant subjects like Computer, Mathematics, Statistics , Economic, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode:

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.

After the successful completion of the course, one can be recognized as Business Analyst and able to work as Senior Data Scientist, Statistician, Predictive Modeller, Quantitative Analyst, Assistant Project Manager, Market Research Analyst, Technical Team Leader, etc.
