Course Details:

The Master of Law (LLM in Cyber Law and Cyber Security), is a one to two years postgraduate cyber law degree program in India. The aim of the master study program is to prepare candidates with an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and skills for maintain and minimize the occurrence and severity of cyber security. The Master’s law security program combines the discipline of technology, business, organization behavior and law.
The cyber law and cyber security are a term encode the Internet. The study covers interdisciplinary related to the areas of law and regulation some of the topics covered under it are internet access and usage, privacy, freedom of expression and jurisdiction. The study develops the learning techniques used to detect, respond to prevent network intrusions.

The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of cyber law and security. The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of Information Technology Act and legal formwork of Right to Privacy, Data Security, and Data Protection.

The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as Cyberspace Technology and Social Issues Regulation of Cyberspace, Commerce and Cyberspace, Privacy and Data Protection, Fundamentals of Information Security, Information Technology Acts and Cybercrime, Wireless Network & Security.

Eligibility

The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Legislative Law (L.L.B) or any Bachelor Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Degree professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 1 to 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.

Further Study

After the successful completion of master’s degree course, candidates can pursue for, M.Phil (Cyber Law and Cyber Security), Ph.D. (Cyber Law and Cyber Security) or do specialization and research oriented work in their respective field.
