The Master of Law (LLM in Cyber Law and Cyber Security), is a one to two years postgraduate cyber law degree program in India. The aim of the master study program is to prepare candidates with an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and skills for maintain and minimize the occurrence and severity of cyber security. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in an academic discipline such as Cyberspace Technology and Social Issues Regulation of Cyberspace, Commerce and Cyberspace, Privacy and Data Protection, Fundamentals of Information Security, Information Technology Acts and Cybercrime, Wireless Network & Security.
The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Legislative Law (L.L.B) or any Bachelor Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Degree professional study program.
This course requires study requires 1 to 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.
After the successful completion of master’s degree course, candidates can pursue for, M.Phil (Cyber Law and Cyber Security), Ph.D. (Cyber Law and Cyber Security) or do specialization and research oriented work in their respective field.
