B.E./B. Tech. – Automobile, Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing / Mechatronics.

Course Details:

Master of Engineering in Automobile Engineering (ME.Automobile), is a two years Automotive Engineering degree level course of study in India. This course deals with the designing, developing, manufacturing, testing & repairing and servicing of automobiles.

The aim of the program is to prepare personnels with good mechanical skills which are necessary for solving mechanical problems with logical thinking, creativity and technical understanding with the adoption of new and modern technologies.

The master study program is designed to prepare candidates able to deals with activities such as creation and assemble the whole parts of automobiles. The professional study develops the technical knowledge and skills in candidates to design and layout the equipments, machine rates and line rate, specification of automation equipment and manufacturing safety procedures.

The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of the Automobile Engineering. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Automotive, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Production of Automotive Components, Special Types of Vehicles, Vehicles Control System, Engine Management System,Instrumentation and experimental Techniques, Combustion Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Automotive Air Conditions System, Alternative Fuels and Propulsion System, Vehicle Maintenance, Automotive Aerodynamics, Automotive Safety, Rubber Technology for Automobiles.

Eligibility:

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode:

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.

Further Studies:

After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do Ph.D. (Doctorate in Automobiles), and specialization or research oriented work in their respective field.
