Course Details:

Master of Commerce in Financial Studies (M.Com.Financial Studies) is a two years postgraduate finance degree course in India. The aim of the study program is to provide in-depth knowledge about managing funds, build on the principle of risk money and time management the course also develops the prerequisite skills in mathematics, economic and statistics which is essential for the financial study.

The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Financial Studies.The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information about the modern techniques of Financial Studies, The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as Taxation Law & Practice, General Management, Economic Analysis, Research Methodology, Management Accounting, Economic Analysis, Indian Financial System, International Business & Finance, Economic Environment in India, Financial Market & Services, Operational Research, Monetary Economics.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor’s Degree like Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s Financial Studies professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

The master’s study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.

Further Studies

After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do M.Phil (Financial Studies), Ph.D. (Doctorate in Financial Studies), and specialization or research oriented work in their respective field.
