Master of Arts (MA Medieval Indian Histroy)

The Master of Arts in Medieval Indian History (M.A.Medieval Indian History), is a two years postgraduate History course in India. Medieval Indian History provides comprehensive and throughout the study of specialization in a history of Medieval time periods of that particular culture. The Master’s course covers the study of major historical events that took place in India. The aim of the study program is to provide Research skills like writing and presentation skills and paleography, historiographical formwork, etc. The study is designed to train candidates to read intelligently, think analytically write clearly, accurately assess the past, trend, rationally predict future development and understanding of the real world from the prehistoric period to the recent times. The course is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Medieval Indian History.The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information about the Indian History, The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as History of Medieval Indian, Polity in Medieval India, Timeline of Ancient History, Classical Antiquity Indian Historiography.

Eligibility

The candidate has to complete Bachelor’s Degree like Bachelor of Arts (BA), or any other Bachelor’s Degree with relevant subjects like History, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 50% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master of Arts in Medieval Indian History Studies program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

The master’s study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode.
