Located in College of Engineering under Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in September 1983. This college has truly transcended all boundaries to establish itself as a premier institute where “Supremacy of technology – enabled Learning”, empowers the students to pursue their passion to realize their ambitions, irrespective of their geographical locale., The college is aligned to the mission “Social Transformation through Dynamic Education” and is therefore committed to attain global standards where knowledge is the key driving force in the rapidly changing globalized economy., The college became a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in June 2000 and was thereafter accessed and accredited to grade “A” by NAAC further, all of its programmes are also accredited by NBA., Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering at Pune was established in August 1983. Over the last 24 years, the college has made all-round progress and is now acclaimed as one of the best engineering colleges in this part of the country, Since its inception in 1983 till July 2000, the college was affiliated on a permanent basis to University of Pune. In July 2000, the Government of India, on the recommendations of the UGC and AICTE has included this college as a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth University. This college has thus the approval and recognition of the Government of India, AICTE, UGC and the Government of Maharashtra, As per the section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, the Deemed Universities have the same status as the State and Central statuary Universities. So the degrees and diplomas, which Bharati Vidyapeeth University awards to its students, have the same status and recognition as those awarded by the State and Central statuary Universities., Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering has promoted meaningful Research and Development activities with a vision and mission to pursue and promote Research in Frontier Technologies. In order to strengthen and expand the research activities in the institute, R&D cell was established and is functioning in this institute, R&D cell was established and is functioning in this Institution from last several years.
