The Govt.of Maharstra rightly acknowledged his efforts and awarded him with prestigious and renowned “ Late. Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana and Ekatmata Award” in 1995 . He is also been awarded by Rashtriya Ekatmata Award at Bangalore in the year 2004-05 and “ Hind Ratna Award” at Londan in the Year 2007-08 for his contribution to the social and economic empowerment of the people. Realizing the technical and professional needs of the people , he pioneered Jadmaba Education Society in1991 . He is very affectionately called as “ Shikshan Maharshi” of the region.
