Started with a vision for commitment to offer excellence in the form of quality education, Department of Pharmacy, Kamptee has become one of the most reputed Pharma Institute in Central India with a history of excellent growing track record within a very short duration of time.

Department of Pharmacy, Kamptee is self-financing Institute managed by Shri Sadashivrao Patil Shikshan Sanstha, Kamptee. The Sanstha was established in 1985 under the guidance of Shri Y.K. Bhoyar serving the cause of Education in the rural area like Kamptee.

The Department of Pharmacy, Kamptee took its first leap by introducing a Diploma Course in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) as Smt. Shantabai Patil Institute of Diploma in Pharmacy, Kamptee in 1995, soon followed by a Degree Course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) as Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee in 1997. The Institute is affiliated to various Governing Bodies like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai, Maharashtra State Government. The Department is persistently thriving with a sole objective of imparting quality education to the aspiring candidates helping them to play a significant role to support their bright and challenging future.

With the search of opportunities to extend the reach through innovation and research, the Institute very soon introduced a Post-Graduate Course in Pharmacy with three specializations i.e. M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2004 and Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology in 2005. Department of Pharmacy, Kamptee is persistently obtaining high academic standards with excellence in Teaching & Research.

The Institute is spread over 20 acres with huge infrastructure of about sixty thousand sq.ft. area having highly sophisticated and well equipped laboratories with latest instruments like HPLC, FTIR, UV-Spectrophotometer, Tablet machines to enhance the learning & research process.

The Department has highly qualified and well trained teaching faculty with rich academic, industrial and research experience and with a blend of experience and youthful vigor. Some of the eminent faculty members in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences like Dr. G.S. Bhoyar (Principal), Dr. S.G. Wadodkar & Dr. C.T. Chopade , Dr. S.B. Joshi and Dr. R. P. Kale are working as Professors to continuously guide the students in shaping their future in the Pharmacy profession. The institute also regularly invites other eminent guest faculty from industry and academics for interaction to make their students making them aware of the current advancement in the field.

The learning process is supported by a voluminous Library with rich Text books, Reference books, National & International Journals, Periodicals and other Reading materials. The Library is also equipped with Computer terminals installed with Library software. Different desirable facilities like book bank, Photo-copier, 24 hrs. Internet etc. are also available.
