In 1994 the Govt. of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education, gave permission to Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha to start Priyadarshini Polytechnic which has been recognized by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, and the institute is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.
We encourage Teaching, training, research, consultancy and industry-institute interaction for the vertical growth of the students & the staff. We ensure quality, equity, relevance and excellence in education by promoting intelligence & talents, creativity, innovative ideas & practices among the students.

About Department :
Electronics are off shoots of Electrical Engineering. It deals with ICs and large-scale integration as applied in house-hold and industrial appliances. The instruments in various fields viz. medical , mechanical, radio, transistors, telephones, TV sets, radar, Satellites, etc. are based on electronics.
Manufacturing repairs and maintenance of Computers also come under the scope of Electronics Engineers. The Lab has all generation of microprocessors and a large number of PCBs for conducting practical. The laboratories are fully equipped with Control Systems. Linear Integrated Circuits, Charts, Models and Domestic Appliances for project work in final year.

About Department :
Electrical Engineering is one of the basic branches of Engineering. With rapid industrial growth, increase in demand of electric power is imminent. In view of this, new hydraulic and nuclear power plants are being setup and old ones are being modernized. Hence, requirement of enhanced manpower in this field is inevitable. The department has Electrical Machines, Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Utilization, Switchgear and Protection Laboratories with all necessary equipments and machines to explain fundamentals and impart adequate job skills.
