Considering the need of producing competent teachers in the field of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports Sciences, the parent body had started Jyotiba College of Physical Education in August,1991. Our college is recognized by State Government of Maharashtra and National Council for Teacher Education, WRC, Bhopal and permanently Affiliated to R.T.M. Nagpur University. The college successfully continues to attract attention of scholars from all over subcontinent. It is set up on hilly terrain of Digdoh hills at Nagpur - the orange city.

MISSION- To prepare competent need based human resource and responsible citizens in the field of Physical Education through dissemination of practical but scientific knowledge, development of skills and leadership qualities to create an environment that foster involvement and commitment of all stakeholders for continuous improvement in performance and quality of life for all.
