Shri Dattaji Meghe a visionary, also established a Physical Education College, namely of Bapurao Deshmukh Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya – Nagpur in 1990 at Nagpur with the belief that a sound body only can have a sound mind. The college aims to bring intellectual awakening in the people of Maharashtra through Physical Education. The college is located about 12 kms from Nagpur on the Nagpur-Hingna road. The College Campus is located on hill top. It has a lush forty acres of well maintained greenery and beautiful gardens creating a congenial atmosphere for study. College offers Bachelor of Physical Education, B.P.E.D, and M.P.E.D course to students. The mission of the Bapurao Deshmukh Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalaya – Nagpur is to prepare competent need based human resources and responsible citizens for Physical Education profession through dissemination of knowledge and development of skills and to create an environment that fosters the involvement and commitment of all stake holders and to continuously improve their performance and quality.
