This Department equips the students with strong conceptual understanding in the core areas of Information Technology discipline to make them competent engineers foreseeing the challenges in the IT industry. To fulfill the needs, the department has well equipped Electronics & Software laboratories with Advance Software such as Windows Vista, Oracle 10g, Visual Studio, Matlab, Microprocessor and DSP, Digital Electronics labs. This course stresses the analytical framework within which computer systems and algorithms may be rigorously studied. Co-curricular activities such as workshops, seminars, Industrial tours are organized to develop leadership and communication skills of students.

The department has obtained the state of the art hardware and software infrastructure. To fulfill the needs, the department has well equipped laboratories with advanced softwares like Windows XP, Windows NT, Novel,Netware,RationalRose,Winrunner,MATLAB,Compile-rs, connected through networks. Students learn how to use the theory of Computing and logic reasoning. The constant revision of the curriculum ensures that the students are incorporated with the advancements in existing and emerging technologies. Students also have an option to specialize in a variety of hardware and software subjects so as to promote active industry-institute collaboration. Students are required to undertake mini-projects, seminars and the main project to provide them with the hands-on-engineering experience.

Bachelor of Engineering (BE Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering)

Electronics & Telecommunication

The universal moral of the E&TC Department is to generate and disseminate knowledge and technologies essential to the local and global needs in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication engineering. They also deal with design, manufacture and application of electronic devices and equipments, radio and television, communication system, radar and navigational aids, computer hardware and software, process control etc.

The laboratories are developed as per the need of the syllabus and industry. Special focus is on additional training in various subjects like Embedded System, VLSI, etc. Students are encouraged for the membership of professional bodies such as IETE, IEEE. An informal group "Electronics Engineering Students Association (EESA)" is formed for conduction of various activities such as Paper Presentation, Project Exhibition etc.

Our final year students have developed advanced software based and innovative projects, which are best suited for industrial as well as domestic application. Various activities are conducted for overall development of the students.
