Govt Degree College, Nubra was established in the year 2011, Govt Degree College, Nubra is affiliated to University of Ladakh
Government Degree College, Nubra was established on29-06-2011 with an aim to provide higher education to the students of this remote valley at their own doorstep. It started functioning in a makeshift building of Government Higher Secondary School, Diskit. The construction of the college building is under execution at Tsogstod, Diskit. Work on the Administrative Block comprising of the Library, Principal’s Chambers and Office has been completed while the Academic Block is under construction. The college has a sprawling campus of 150 kanals. It imparts education to students pursuing under-graduate courses in Bachelor of Arts. The college proposes to start Science and Commerce streams in the near future.
