The student will learn to recognize quality photographs, both technically and aesthetically, and will learn to make, manage and edit photographs with digital cameras, media, computers, and software. The student will be exposed to the ethics of using images for news and editorial purposes, and in the process will learn to become conversant with photographic terminology through the critique process.
