      About Kerala Institute of Retail Management KIRM, Cochin

      Kerala Institute of Retail Management (KIRM), is a unique institute formed with a view to upgrading the existing knowledge and working environment of the people employed in the Retail Sector. KIRM is being run with the participation of Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Govt. of Kerala, INKEL Ltd, Kerala Bureau of Industrial Promotion, Retailers Association of India & Kerala Institute of Entrepreneurship Development. The Governing Council of the Institute is drawn from the members of these establishments. Courses are designed to update the students about the current trends and market demands of each product. By giving practical training, KIRM grooms the students to excel in their Retail sector careers.

      OBJECTIVE:
      The objective of the institute is to bring awareness among the people about the career opportunities in the retail sector. The programmes are so charted to ensure placement in reputed retail establishments.

      Certificate Programme in Professional Retailing Skills (CPPRS)

      The medium of instruction of the course is English and Malayalam. The course covers comprehensively all aspects of Retail Management techniques with emphasis on practical aspects also.
