Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic established by the Trust in 1982, was the first private polytechnic started in the undivided South Kanara district. It is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. NRAM Polytechnic is affiliated to the Board of Technical Examination, Bangalore.

List of facilities available at Nitte Rukmini Adyanthaya Memorial Polytechnic, Nitte for students.
The library has a total floor area of 9,508 sq.ft. It has about 10,945 volumes on various subjects of engineering for study, reference and research. The computerized facilities in the library provide for easy access and reference work. The library is kept open till 11 pm.
The Polytechnic is provided with laboratories, workshops and machine shops, which are fully equipped with adequate machines. The Computer Centre has a 64 bit NT Server and Novell network as LAN servers. The students can also make use of the Internet facility at the Institute. The centre has more than 100 terminals, with PIV and Core two duo processors with WINDOWS / NT.
The campus has an indoor stadium of 11,000 sq.ft which provides necessary infrastructure for outdoor sports like athletics; throw ball, basket ball, volley ball, football, hockey, and indoor games like shuttle badminton, table tennis, weight lifting, chess and carom. The stadium also has a fully equipped gym.
As the Mangalore Padubidri Kudremukh highway runs adjacent to the NET Campus, students have adequate transport and commutation facilities. The campus is well connected with direct transportation to and from Udupi Manipal, Karkala and Mangalore. For students commuting daily from these places, the Institute provides transportation at a concessional rate.
Hostel facility is available for outstation students on a cost sharing basis. Each hosteller is provided with a cot, table, chair and cupboard. The hostels have both a vegetarian and a nonvegetarian mess. Other facilities include visitors parlor, common telephone, TV/reading room, solar heated water facility and generators.
The students are covered by the Medicare scheme which entitles them to medical care and treatment at the Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital at Deralakatte. The campus has a medical centre with a qualified physician and trained lab technicians to treat the staff, students and the local population. The centre also has an attached dental unit.

The canteens in the campus cater to the requirements of the students and staff. Snacks, soft drinks and meals are served at reasonable rates.
There is a full fledged branch of the Syndicate Bank and an ATM within the campus as well as a branch of the Vijaya Bank opposite the college campus. The campus also has a sub-post office and a co-operative society where stationery articles and other requirements are supplied at a reasonable cost.
Students are provided with placement services headed by Mrs Sharavathi, HOD, Department of Science & Humanities. Placement cell actively conducts coaching classes for Aptitude test, how to face interview etc.
