The College offers the Degree of Bachelor of Education of one academic year as per regulations of the University of Tumkur. The academic year usually begins in the month of December/January. The total intake has been fixed at 100 by Government of Karnataka. The college shall admit all the candidates allotted by the Government of Karnataka through Common Entrance Test .

The college is Situated in, Tiptur Town in the southern part of Karnataka, Tumkur District. It is 850.3mtrs above see level and is situated on Bangalore Honnawara N. H. 206 at a distance of 144 km from Bangalore. The Town is well connected by Road and is about only Two hours journey by Train.
