A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was established in 1967 by People’s Education Society & Trust. It was the first ever institution in India to get ISO certificate in 1996 2000. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Today it is regarded as one of the largest Homoeopathic Colleges of repute in the whole India.

The significant improvement in the academic performance reflects the academic status of the college. This has been achieved through struggle for excellence and quality consciousness. To meet the emerging global challenges, the institute strives hard for all round development of its stake holders so that they can make contributions to the society.

It is indeed a matter of pride that A.M.Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was the first Indian college to have the distinction of being awarded the ISO 9002 Certificate in the year 1996, which was later upgraded to ISO 9001-2000 standards.
