Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a young dynamic multi - disciplinary University with Amrita School of Business as one of the fastest growing schools. With the need to expand globally and offer collaborative programs jointly with top rated universities in the west. Amrita School of Business has expanded its wings to Bengaluru. The most unique feature of MBA Programme at Bengaluru campus is the collaborative twinning programme in collaboration with School of Management at university at Buffalo, New York.
In Bengaluru, Amrita offers a unique collaborative twinning program, the MBA-MS. Candidates have the opportunity to earn an MBA from Amrita University and an MS (Master of Sciences) in Management of IT Services from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. Designed primarily for those who aspire to management positions in high-tech industries, this is also a two-year full-time program. An Executive MBA-MS is also offered at the Bengaluru campus for working professionals. This two-year program has weekend classes. Students earn an Executive MBA degree from Amrita University upon the completion of the program as well as an MS degree in Management of IT Services from the State University of New York at Buffalo. The first batch of students from this program graduated in February 2009.
The management programme at Bengaluru produce students who will be globally competent with strong ethical, moral and cultural values. Students are exposed to the highly qualified Faculty from Amrita and SUNY UB and the visiting faculty drawn from the top management institutes and the industry in India.
