His Holiness Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj is a great Sanskrit scholar, a saint with Devine powers, a reformer & a preacherin the true sense, moving from place to place on foot to convey his message to the people, suffering from innumerable miseries & agonies of life. The Swami Ji is a Mahatama in a true sense, working meticulously for the last 30 years for the upliftment of the mankind. He is a true philanthropist who has also been working for the cause of education. He has set up not only an ASHRAM in Sunderbani but also has set a number of educational institutions apart from Sanskrit Vidhyala for the mental upliftment of the ignorant & illiterate masses. Through the educational institutions, His Holiness, the swami ji endeavours to lengthen the mental horizon of the people of the region, irrespective of the cast, creed & colour. The Swami ji left his family for the sacred cause. His native place is Sunderbani, which is a beautiful place in the lap of Kalidhar Hills, 78km. from Jammu & 75km.from Rajouri. His ashram at Sundrbani bespeaksof his aesthetic & spiritual sense.

The College was established by Swami Vishwatamnand Sadbhawana Charitable Trust, Bombay Under the Chairmanship of His Holiness Swami Vishwatamnand Saraswati in 2000 with the aim and objective to revive our old cultural heritage on the one side and to provide modern education along with moral values to the students fraternity on the other side so that students of rural area develop the total personality to meet the challenges of the competitive world.
