Department of Biochemistry

This Department offers MSc and PhD in Biochemistry, and over the years has gained the reputation of providing quality education and training in Biochemistry all over the country and across continents. Department is the recipient of SAP and FIST, in addition to a number of grants received from various sources including
UGC, DBT, DST, CSIR, CCRUM, and ICMR.

Eligibility for M Sc Biochemistry

: Passed BSc in Biochemistry or equivalent examination in Biological Sciences with Biochemistry or Chemistry as one of the subjects securing at least 55% marks in aggregate Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.

Facilities And Activities :

Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF) at Jamia Hamdard was created in 2008-09 under the BTBI program of DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology with the objective of supporting bioinformatics training and research in the University in life, pharmaceutical and medical sciences.
