JS University was established on March 2015 by the Uttar Pradesh government. The university is sponsored by the Sri Jagdish Jan Kalyan Education Trust. It is a state private University of Uttar Pradesh providing education from graduation to Ph.D. level. The university has established the DR. Ram Manohar Lohia Advance Study Centre Which Offers Innovative Programmes like Political Thoughts and Leadership Studies Management, Police Studies and Forensic Science Criminology and Security Management etc. J.S university is among few Indian universities to establish Community College Running UGC identified Trades and approved courses like Accountancy and Taxation Automobiles Computer Hardware and Networking Maintenance Dairy Sciences, Office Automation and E-Governance, Mobile Repairing and Basics Of DTH Installation etc.
