About IGKV Raipur
Indira Gandhi Agricultural University (IGAU) is located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The university was established on 20 January 1987 in Raipur by the State Legislature (Act No. 20 of 1987) to provide a new dimension to the agriculture development of Chhattisgarh region of the state, which is known as the “Rice Bowl”. Students are admitted to undergraduate courses after the declaration of result of the pre-admission test conducted by C G Board, Raipur. The academic year for postgraduate and Ph.D. courses starts from September.
