The establishment of the RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal is an expression of enduring spirit of Rashtriya Vidya Samiti Regd. which is running RKSD PG College, RKSD Sr Sec School & RKSD College of Education. During the past ten years the College has made significant contributions towards building professional skills of pharmacy focusing on Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy. To update the knowledge of students, Guest Lectures by Experts from Industry and Academics, National Seminars, Workshops, Industrial visits are conducted at regular intervals. Faculty members are encouraged to attend University/AICTE/PCI sponsored Staff Development Programs, Refresher Courses & National Seminars so as to update themselves with recent developments. These strategies have helped in continuous updating of our students & faculty members to reflect the dynamic changes in Pharmacy Education. As we strive for excellence in what we do, the College is constantly making endeavors to scale new heights by developing synergy between Academics, Research & Pharmaceutical Industry., After due approval from AICTE, New Delhi RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal came into existence in 2004 with the introduction of B. Pharmacy Course with an intake of 60 seats and later on adding D. Pharmacy course in 2006 with an intake of 60 seats. Recently in the session 2012-13, M. Pharmacy course with specialization of Pharmaceutics with an intake of 24 students has been started and Intake of D. Pharmacy course has been raised from 60 to 120 seats. B. Pharmacy & M. Pharmacy course are affiliated from Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Science, Rohtak while D. Pharmacy course has its affiliation from Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula. The College has well lit Class Rooms, Laboratories, Library, Instrumentation Rooms, Machine Rooms, Animal House, Museum and Seminar Hall etc. 26 highly qualified and dedicated teachers along with some part time faculty take care of academic needs of the students and also mentor them for growth within Pharmacy Profession. The College Library House above 8000 text & reference books, National & International Journals, Multimedia teaching kits, online E-Library & E-Journals facilities. College has earned a good name among Pharmacy fraternity which is reflected by excellent University & Board results and placement records. To make the students professionally strong, regular industrial visits, industrial training and seminars workshops are arranged.
