Embedded Systems involves combination of hardware and software resulting in dedicated applications in varities of fields such as Communication, Industrial tools, Consumer goods, Transportation, Instrumentation, Process plants, Medical equipment etc. Each and every engineering domain is affected by the advancement in Microprocessor technologies. Hence the specialization in Embedded Systems helps students in achieving expertise and skill resulting in independent system development capabilities. Keeping in mind about the industrial demand and requirements from students end to meet the same, a new post graduate program with title Embedded Systems has been offered by Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering from Academic Year 2013 – 2014.
