      About Government Polytechnic, Palanpur

      Government Polytechnic Palanpur was established in the year 1984. The Government of Gujarat allotted 20 Acres of land on which stands the majestic & sprawling Govt. Polytechnic campus. This institute started in the year 1984 with three Diploma level Engineering courses (Civil, Mechanical, and Elect) for the development of border area district. In 1994 another two courses has been started (E&C ENGG, I&C ENGG) for the advancement in technology. Now days this college has more than 1500 student with 65 faculty members and other supporting staff.Government polytechnic palanpur has total intake capacity of 690 students per year and it is approved by AICTE and affiliated to GTU.
