A trainee successfully completing this course will make safer and more effective contribution to the operation and control of the ship’s machinery.
The Simulator designed and supplied ARI by provides facilities to meet the international and national training requirements for engineer officers. Modern vessels incorporate most sophisticated engine plants, which are designed for a minimum of control efforts by a reduced number of crew but of course the understanding of the system has to be increased manifold. The high demand of efficient operation in all aspects require well-trained engineer officers. The simulator demonstrates many different functions on control panels and graphic display to the trainees. Here they can interact as well as monitor these functions.
