In 1954 we started the legal education under the patronage of the erstwhile Rulers of Mysore. To begin with the college had F.L. and B.L. courses, which later on was converted into 3 years degree course. The Karnataka State Government extended granting aid to the college in the year 1988. Ours is the only law college getting grants from State Government in Mysore City.
