Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) was established in 1962 as a Government Aided Engineering College. It was started with three conventional courses. viz., Civil, Electrical and Mechanical with an intake of 40 in each branch which was subsequently increased to 60. The institute is permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai.

The Arts and Crafts Education Society was formed in the year 1953, and later on in the year 1985 it came to be known as L. S. Raheja Technical Institute. In 1994 Visual and Communication Art was added to the existing courses with the sole motive of providing opportunities to the students who wanted to make their career in this field. So we stood as the opportunity givers ! and opened our doors for the aspiring students.

One of the foremost educational institutions of Vidarbha, Vidya Bharati Mahavidyalaya was established in 1972 first as a Science College at the graduate and Junior College levels. Later it blossomed into a multi-faculty institution with Arts. Commerce. Management and Cosmetic Technology. The College offers courses from the Junior College level, through Graduation and Post-graduation to Research for PhD in all the faculties.

The college construction was completed by 1994 and the Hospital, which was initially planned for 1100 beds, had its major construction over by 1995. At present it is fully equipped 550-bed hospital with 10 operation theatres and intensive care units for adults and children and neonates. Bio-waste management was made mandatory from 2000 and the hospital has invested in state of the art incinerator and practicing the health care waste management in Toto.
