Thakur Ranmat Singh TRS College, Rewa was established in 1944, is one of the oldest and reputed college in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh as well as surrounding city Allahabad, Satna, Sidhi etc. This college is located in middle of Rewa city on NH-7. TRS College, Rewa was established as a unit of Durbar College, with affiliation to Calcutta , Allahabad, Agra, Sagar and now with Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Rewa.

The main campus of Meerut College situated opposite the District Courts is spread over an area of 50 acres this Campus has academic departments, laboratories, central library, administrative block, 3 hostels and other supporting facilities.The second campus of the institution – Bhamashah Park (Victoria Park) covers an area of 32 acres has grounds for cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, badminton, lawn tennis etc.

Govt J Yoganandam Chhattisgarh College, the prestigious autonomous college is committed over eight decades established in 1938 to disseminate knowledge in the faculty of Arts, Commerce, Science and Law.
